Youngstown Area Roller Derby Presents: The 1st Annual YARD Round-Up
Youngstown Area Roller Derby (YARD) is hosting its inaugural home roller derby bout at the original Quaker Steak & Lube in downtown Sharon, PA! This is YARDs first season in existence as an all-gender roller derby team and we thought we would show everyone what we are all about!
One ticket will get you admission to 2 live, flat track roller derby games, the first being the home team YARD vs. Erie Roller Derby. The second game will be an all-gender mash-up scrimmage featuring some of the best roller derby players in the tri-state area! Prepare for some hard hits and gnarly road rash as these bouts will be played in an outdoor setting on a smooth blacktop surface!
After both bouts have concluded, please feel free to stay for the after party! Yes, thats right, an after party where you can mingle with your new favorite local athletes and get to know more about the sport of derby. The Quaker Steak & Lubes Sugar Shack will be in full service mode for both games and the after party, so bring your taste buds along with your favorite outdoor chair!
This event will be held outside and is a BYOC (bring your own chair) affair. There will be limited seating provided and it will go fast, so why not bring a chair your tush is already comfy in?
This event will be family friendly and a good time for all ages! Kids age 12 and under are free, adult tickets will be $7 presale and $10 at the door.
A rain out date for this event has been scheduled for the following Saturday, September 30th, 2023.
We cannot wait to introduce the sport of roller derby to the Shenango Valley, hope to see you there!

Parking will be available in the Quaker Steak & Lubes various lots, including the old Tullys Steakhouse. There will be additional parking across the street at the public lot next to Fringe Benefit Services. The event will be handicap accessible and a family friendly environment.
