The New Mendicants House Concert
Roots Hoot House Concerts is pleased to present indie supergroup The New Mendicants in a rare house concert appearance. The New Mendicants are a Canadian-based indie supergroup consisting of singer/songwriters Joe Pernice (Pernice Brothers, Scud Mountain Boys) and Norman Blake (Teenage Fanclub) and drummer Mike Belitsky (The Sadies). The group has just released its first formal full-length album called Into the Lime for Ashmont Records. The duo of Joe & Norman will be doing a Northeast swing at the end of April that brings them to Roots Hoot House Concerts on Sunday, April 27, for a 4:30 pm show. Don't miss out! This is a BYOB/potluck show which means terrific food to go with an afternoon/evening of great music. Sounds like win-win to us
