Camus' THE FALL - Feat. Princess Towers
Jean-Baptiste Clamence was a famous lawyer, a hero of widows and orphans, the pinnacle of virtue, but now he haunts dive bars, interrupting other shows to tell the story of his fall from grace. Within our comfy modern society we all like to think of ourselves as good and righteous. But.. are we? How do we know if we're never tested? Jean Baptiste was tested and is now a self appointed judge-penitent presiding over all who dare listen to his tale.
Montreal based theatre artist, Andrew Cameron has adapted this piece from Albert Camus' novel of the same name and is partnering with musical director Arden Rogalsky & the renowned PRINCESS TOWERS who will provide musical stylings throughout.
Though the The Fall was originally published in 1957, this haunting tale continues to be an increasingly powerful study of contemporary immorality.
