Democracy Now! Host Amy Goodman To Make Mendocino County Appearance April 12th
KZYX and KZYZ announce an appearance by Amy Goodman in Ukiah, in Mendocino County. Goodman is the longtime host of Democracy Now!, heard on media outlets across the United States and around the world, including daily 8:00am broadcasts on KZYX and KZYZ in Mendocino County.
Amy will be speaking Sunday, April 12, 2009 at the Carl Purdy Hall at the Redwood Empire Fairgrounds on North State Street in Ukiah. Doors open at 11:15am, and with Amy beginning about 12:00noon. Close-in parking is available on site. Tickets are $15 advance, $20 at the door. Students (12 and over) and seniors (62 and over) are $10.00 advance, $15.00 at the door. Children 11 and under are free. Tickets are available at Mendocino Book Company and Dig Music (Ukiah), Leaves of Grass (Willits), Four-Eyed Frog Books and the Sea Trader (Gualala), and Tangents (Fort Bragg).
