Fake Radio Presents: "The Big Story"!
In the 1940's & 1950's, "The Big Story" was about the most popular newspaper drama on the air. Sponsored by Pell Mell - the OUTSTANDING cigarette! - the program had a whopping 381 episodes and ran from 1947 to 1955. The series was based on ACTUAL news stories of the day much like the show "Dragnet" was based on actual police cases.
