For many years, KAZIMI played music alone and in secret. She crafted songs as a way to work through lifes peaks and valleys but they were never meant to be shared. Then came the tidal shift of 2020 and on the other side of isolation, the recording of her debut album, River Run.
The soundscape of the New York City-based singer-songwriter drifts effortlessly between worlds, diving deep into the personal to touch universal truths. Tender yet cinematic, her take on indie-folk-pop is as evocative in its style as it is in its storytelling.
Gold Eris
Gold Eris was formed by singer/songwriter Thomas Oliverio in 2017. Described by some as indie, others as artrock, and by one fan as incorrect jazz, Gold Eris is more like if David Bowie and St. Vincent had a baby who grew up listening to 90s music and experimenting with fashion. Oliverio recorded and self-released the debut album, Born A Quitter, in 2020. In contrast to the electronic feel of the record, the band's new material is unfolding with fresh layers of string, brass, pathos, and yes some bossa nova.
