Slow Food Napa Valley Food Policy Issues

Join Slow Food Napa Valley on April 2 nd at 6:00 pm at the Bardessono for an evening dedicated to current issues around the food system.
We'll begin the evening with a reception where we'll have an opportunity to meet some of the folks behind the absolutely beautiful Bardessono and learn why they chose to develop this property with an environmentally defined philosophy. We'll then view the preview and raw footage of the film "Edible City" an examination of the realities, success stories and reasons for urban agriculture. The filmaker will be on hand to tell us why they are making this film and how you might get involved. Our evening will finish as we are joined by Michael Dimmock, President of the Roots of Change Fund for a synopsis of current Food Policy issues in California and the United States, and how organizations like Slow Food USA and the ROC are working to affect change of those issues.
