22nd Annual NIETF Gala Awards Ceremony
NIETF recognizes excellence in community theatre arts across member theatres in NWI each fall during it's annual Awards Gala. Throughout the year, viewers rate each eligible play and musical produced at a member theatre including acting, directing, designing and other specialized categories. In September the nominees are announced and in October the Awards Gala is held where the entire NWI community theatre family dons their elegant apparel and enjoys celebrating each other's accomplishments.
We are pleased to announce that this year's gala will be held in a new venue - The Valparaiso University Center for the Arts!

6 pm - reception
7 pm - awards ceremony
10 pm - dancing
Join us at 6:00 pm in the narthex of the Valparaiso University Center for the Arts for h'ors d'oeurves, cash bar, conversation, and fun photo booth. Seating in the University Theatre for the ceremony will begin at 6:45 pm and the ceremony will begin at 7:00 pm. There is no food or drink allowed in the theatre so plan to arrive at the reception early to enjoy all the festivities. During intermission, enjoy desserts and more conversation along with the photo booth and cash bar. Upon the completion of the awards ceremony, stay around for fun DJ and dancing.

Parking is available on the east and west side of the VUCA near the Harre Union and Schnabel Hall. There is a guest drop off on the south side of the VUCA.
Early Tickets are on sale August 1 - September 30, 2014. Beginning October 1, 2014, all ticket prices so up $5. Please note: member ticket prices are for those individuals who have a current, paid membership to NIETF. You may pay for your membership with your tickets by selecting the appropriate price level. Thanks.
