"Negotiation Revisited: When to Negotiate and Ways to Navigate"
Whether it's time to navigate the next million dollar deal or simply agree on the next venue for dinner, negotiation is part of your life. Are you looking to negotiate successful distribution deals? Do you negotiate contracts that are in your best interest? How do you negotiate and make counter offers without undervaluing yourself? Are you the only woman in the room negotiating with men? Women earn less money than men over their careers. When a woman accepts what she's offered rather than negotiating for more, she sacrifices more than $500,000 over the course of her career. Most people expect you to negotiate! Today's deals are sketched out on napkins, proposed in text messages, and developed through Facebook exchanges or email. We live in an age that realizes the fastest changes in recorded history, and it is critical to close deals quickly, before the opportunities disappear. Welcome to life conducted through collective bargaining. Join this strategy filled, high-energy session and discover: the top 10 negotiation skills that will empower you and initiate action; a step by step blueprint detailing tactics for more powerful negotiation; strategies for effectively identifying and choosing a "Plan B"; formulas for successfully negotiating with jerks, and key tactics for emerging victorious in "win lose" situations
