Crossing Stony Ground: Hope and Renewal in Hard Times
How do we maintain enthusiasm, hope, and love through these times of social and environmental breakdown, when the old answersspiritual, political and emotionalno longer seem to serve? How do we hold a vision through all the hard work and frustrations of bringing it to birth?
In this one-day workshop, Starhawk draws on the tools of magic and ritual: stories, trance, visualization, drumming, chanting and movement, to help us chart the course of our own journey, face the obstacles, and find the magical and daily-life allies we need for support. Together we can nurture the deep sources of inspiration and renewal in our lives.
Who is this for?
Healers, therapists, parents, students, coaches, teachers, medics, activists, permaculturalists, farmers, gardeners, community organizers, musicians, artists, writersanyone whose work involves creativity, nurturing, and vision and who struggles with the challenges posed by a society that favors destruction and exploitation over the work of regeneration.
What will I get from this workshop?
A deep experience of connection to nature and community.
Tools to help deepen your own spiritual practice.
Inner tools of discernment to help in making decisions and choosing paths.
A renewed sense of hope.
This is a partial benefit for Starhawk's Earth Activist Training work.
