Australia is known for its dangerous animals, harsh climate and extreme conditions, but in recent times nothing's come out of the country more extreme than King Parrot! This ferocious new 5 piece from Melbourne have been stirring up a storm Down Under for the last 12 months, and are ready to unleash the carnage in the USA this March and April.
Their debut record "Bite Your Head Off" was recently released on Candlelight Records, and the band are set to undertake a 6 week tour of the USA with Vattnet Viskar and Vaporizer. Combing elements of grind, thrash and punk rock into something uniquely their own, King Parrot have forged a live show on intensity, energy and humor that's seen them climb to the top of the pile of the Australian metal scene.
Punters fear for their lives, but can't peel their eyes away from the madness that engulfs every sense as King Parrot smash through their trademark live show. After causing a stir in the metal underground with the disturbing video for the track "Shit on the Liver", a wave of interest has surrounded the band since, and are now getting the chance to shine on the international stage with performances also scheduled at South by South West.
A new video has been released in conjunction with the tour announcement for the track "Dead End", which sees the band lend their hand to some fine acting skills once more.
