Jessica Fudim-Finding the Story Within the Story
Impart tools for creating dance-theater work that is inspired by culturally familiar stories. Participants will learn specific methods of finding "the story within the story" that is poignant and relevant to their art-making mission. Artistic craft will focus on movement, text, playwrighting. Use of music, either recorded or live, is optional. Each participant will create and workshop a 3-5 minute solo work-in-progress to be performed in the Sunday evening performance.
