HC4US Presents: Stand-up for Calcare
Please join the folks at Health Care For Us for a night of comedy at the Fanatic Salon Theater on August 22, 2023 at 7:30 PM.
Performers include:
Hannah Einbinder from HBO MAX's HACKS - Hannah is an American comedian, actress, and writer known for starring in the HBO Max series Hacks, for which she was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award in 2021 and 2022, and a Golden Globe Award in 2022.
Laurie Kilmartin - Laurie is a stand-up comedian and an Emmy-nominated, WGA award-winning comedy writer. She was a staff writer for all 11 years of CONAN on TBS, and has performed stand-up on CONAN, Late Late Show w/James Corden, and Comedy Central. She was a Top 10 finalist on season 9 of NBC's Last Comic Standing
Jon Schnitzer - Jon frequently performs at The Comedy Store where he recently opened for Marc Maron. Jon does standup all over LA, and was a featured comic this summer at the LAUGH RIOT GRRL Festival. As an activist Jon fought for Healthcare For All as a Bernie Sanders Delegate, and on the Executive Board of the California Democratic Party.
Tatyana Guchi became a Laugh Factory Fresh Face and regular in 2022, has performed for Dont Tell, Sketch fest, MisFits Con LA, and much more.
Torrance Hill is a talented stand-up comic and MC who frequently performs in L.A.'s top venues The Comedy Store, The Improv, Flappers, The Laugh Factory and The Ice House to name a few.
Nina Nguyens comedy is vulnerable and sincere but will quickly detour into playful foolishness. Shes a bisexual Vietnamese trans comic from Houston TX pouring her heart out on stage, punctuating sentiment with something stupid. Nina was a finalist on StandupNBC, toured colleges through NACA and a writer for CBS Diversity Showcase. She recently performed at Limestone Comedy Festival and can be seen at clubs and festivals all over - but mostly in Los Angeles where she lives with her wife and cat.
Tracy Newman - Tracy is a comedian and musician. Along. with being a founding member of the improvisational theater troupe The Groundlings, she is also a singer - songwriter, and the lead singer of Tracy Newman and The Reinforcements.
All proceeds support Health Care for US, an all-volunteer organization advocating for a single-payer healthcare system to guarantee health care as a human right in CA and beyond, through the CA Single Payer bill, CalCare.
