Our 1ST Annual BRÜKA PROM is April 5, 2014 from 8 PM to midnight. The theme of this decadent and stylish Brüka Theatre "Funraiser" is the "Roaring Twenties". Dance the night away, play games of chance, or even buy your way into prom royalty. Fashion will travel back in time, or enjoy your favorite prom attire as twenties swag will be available at the prom to accessorize with. Tickets are $30 per person in advance and $40 at the door, or $50 per couple in advance and $60 per couple at the door. 17 and over. The Brüka Prom will be held this year at Cathexes, 250 Bell Street in Reno. Located off 2nd Street. Parking is available. Proceeds benefit Brüka Theatre programming, including main stage plays, Theatre For Children productions and The Artist In The House Series

ABOUT BRÜKA THEATRE In its 21st season in downtown Reno, Brüka has been named "Best Theatre Company" by The News and Review seventeen years running. Brüka Theatre is a leader in the region, recognized for its productions, artists and theatre for children series since it's founding in 1992. Central to Brüka is the commitment to the reinvestigation of contemporary and classic plays and developing new plays within Brüka's Artistic Collective, which include winners of the Nevada Arts Council and Sierra Arts Foundation artist grants and 9 local best actor honors. Brüka is a non-equity and not-for-profit theater company that has produced over 80 shows in our downtown Reno location.
