A Whole-Body Approach to Health and Well-Being -- Nisa King
Do you think your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being rely on each other? When your whole body is out of shape, its easy to feel imbalanced. Have you realized that physical strength might stem as much from exercising the nervous system as the muscles it controls? As you know, flexible, strong and healthy muscles help to keep a range of motion in the joints. In contrast, the muscles shorten and become tight when you don't use a range of motion for a long period of time.
Physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being depend on each other. This class will lead you in gentle whole body workout that features QiGong (gentle movement and breath work to enhance energy flow), Brain Gym exercises(movements to integrate the brains left and right hemispheres to improve coordination and self-esteem), acupressure, mindful meditation and other transformational techniques.
In this 2-session course, you will learn to rebalance, restore and integrate your entire system. In addition, you can develop a deeper understanding of yourself and have the tools to mature your self-awareness.
Nisa King has an MA in psychology, combining industry leadership skills with being an enthusiastic and dedicated Life Coach. She has a successful track record of dealing with anxiety, grief, stress, low self-esteem and improving relationships.
