Pear Slices 2009 is the sixth collection of eight short new plays by the versatile and imaginative writers of the Pear Playwrights Guild. This year's selections range from the hilarious to the heartbreaking, including: a take on take-out psychoanalysis, a blind date between an egg and sperm, a haunting reflection on the after-effects of war, a visit to a Boston bar that turns into the Pearly Gates--and lots more.
