Beginning Calligraphy with Pam Galvani

In this beginning calligraphy workshop, you will learn the basics of the Italic letterform, first used in Italy in the 15th century. Working with pen and ink on paper, you will spend the morning learning letterforms and apply these forms to two practical projects in the afternoon. Pam will also share the work of expert calligraphers and give suggestions for using Italic in everyday applications.
No prior experience necessary.
