Mud Season Comedy Club with Damonde Tschritter
Tschritter's relaxed, laid-back style and unique comic voice have made him a sidesplitting favorite across Canada and the US. In November 2006, Damonde did what no other Canadian has ever been able to do: The 36-year-old became the first stand-up comic from Canada to win the prestigious Seattle International Comedy Competition in its 27-year history. He was raised, in what he describes as a supportive, funny, white trash environment, in the small Vancouver Island town of Parksville. At the age of 16 he began hosting his own cable talk show and has worked steadily as an actor, writer, director and stand up comic since. Damonde's credits include CTV Comedy Now!, three appearances on CBC's Madly Off In All Directions, Just For Laughs, Chicago Comedy Festival, New York Comedy Festival, HBOUSA vs. Canada stand-up weekend, creator of the Vancouver Comedy FestivalsGlossy Awards Show, writer/ producer and star of the film Comedy Club nominated for best picture at the 2000 Reel Madness Comedy Film Festival, as well he has made numerous film and T.V. appearances
