Matthew Wallace- Born and raised in Kaufman County, Texas, Matthew Wallace blends elements of country, folk, ragtime, gospel, and rock n' roll into a burly Americana cocktail best described as "Countredelic". Wallace is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter. You can find him tickling the ivories at black-tie galas or slapping the clawhammer banjo at the local Farmer's Market. You may see him strap on the electric or resonator guitar on stages across Northern California. Drawing comparisons to Waylon Jennings and Guy Clark, Matthew Wallace's stories and songs have a timelessness and immediacy that speaks to the hearts of listeners.
Zera Starchild- Zera Starchild is a singer/songwriter musician (guitarist) from Humboldt County in Northern California. Her first EP release is titled The Singing Poet, which is available on all the music streaming platforms including Spotify. Starchild writes and performs uplifting songs to empower and inspire people. As a musician, Starchild considers herself genre fluid, writing and performing songs ranging from hip hop and rap, to alternative rock, folk, and black gospel music.
Bruce Taylor- Bruce Taylor is a poetry-based singer songwriter who has been playing around with lyrics for over 30 years. The thought of singing and playing his own songs never occurred to him until his mid-forties, when he began to spend more time experimenting with his voice and a guitar. He started playing open mics in his early 50s, which soon led to playing out at local venues. In the spirit of his energy-driven songs, Bruce never plays his songs the same way twice.
Claire Bent- Claire Bent was born and raised in Arcata, and studied music at HSU. She has sung her whole life, and written songs since she was young. She sings a wide variety of genres, and is usually recognized as the singer for her funk band, or her jazz ensembles, but is also well received when singing solo with her ukulele. She takes inspiration from musicians such as Eva Cassidy, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, and Norah Jones, among many others.
