What is inspirational comedy? Well, think of it like this... Deepak Chopra meets fart jokes.
This evening is going to be a little bit of a "Laugh and Learn". What are we learning about? Well, that's the fun part. Here is the topic of the night
Happiness. We all want it. Yet, often times shit hits the fan in our lives and in our minds, and makes us feel like happiness is beyond our reach. We all have our own stresses, challenges and obstacles in life. That's without question. But what if we decided to confront them in a new way...a fresh way...and even a comedic way? This evening will tackle some of life's most challenging questions, including; Why does my hamster not love me anymore? Who actually let the dogs out? And the age-old question, why does my belly button smell? Okay, so it probably won't answer any of those questions, but it will teach you how to make your life a little bit happier.
Get ready for a comedy show like no other. Yes, it's going to be super weird. And super fun. Don't miss it!

Born and raised in Queens, New York, Aastha Lal is a stand-up comic/writer/actor. Growing up as the "class clown" made transitioning to a professional clown very easy for this talented comedian. Aastha has been known for performing all over North America, and for bringing her audiences to tears from laughing at her sitcom-esque life experiences and hilarious impressions.
Aastha is trained in Television Acting under the guidance of the iconic Jennifer Gibson, as well as Improvisational Acting, Stand-Up Comedy and Comedy Writing from the world-renowned Second City. She has also performed in her hometown at New York City's famous 'Comic Strip Live'. In her spare time, Aastha enjoys yoga, cycling and googling pictures of Asian babies dressed like pandas.
