Weird! True Hollywood Tales presents "Ring A Ding Ding"
The Rat Pack was known for its antics on and off the stage. They were a bunch of show-biz pals who turned a penchant for drunken shenanigans into a wildly popular stage act. Of course, they also had talent as comedians, crooners, and actors and became role models for a generation of men with their style, sophistication, and biting wit. The Rat Pack lived life like the world was one big adult playground.
Frank Sinatra was almost as famous for his carousing ways as for his smooth voice and musical talent. Dean "Dino" Martin was one of the few men ever allowed to poke fun at Sinatra's image, and exhibited a "gorgeous indifference" which made everything seem to come easy. And actor, comedian, singer, and dancer Sammy Davis, Jr. epitomized raffish cool.
Join us as we explore the lives and relationships of these brash superstars. We'll look at allegations of chauvinism and over-the-line racial comedy, as well as the womanizing and drunken behavior that some claim were "just part of the act." And we'll showcase the incredible talent and unadulterated "cool" that allowed the Rat Pack to smoke, booze and wise-crack their way to legendary status.
Starring: Lashonda Lester (Nickelodeon NickMom Night Out), Bob Khosravi (Moontower Comedy Festival), Luke McClory (Finalist, FPIA) and Satan (credits too many to name)
