LAST CALL -" The Pat Galo Story" is a biographical musical drama based on a true story that chronicles the legendary New Jersey entertainer's rise to the heights of Showbiz and his subsequent fall.
It is the story of an entertainer whose own self-doubt, insecurities, perfectionism, manic depression, womanizing, mob threats, near death experiences, and substance abuse, ultimately ruined his life and his career.
Blessed with movie star looks, a golden velvet voice, comedic timing, dead on impressions, and being a trumpet virtuoso, Pat could do it all. Nothing could stop him from going all the way to the top.
At the height of his popularity Pat Galo had a legion of followers in show business that included some of the greats of the time. But along the way all the trappings of fame began to catch up with him.
First there was the association with underworld characters. Then came substance abuse, gambling, and a near death automobile accident. All fueled by a constant state of insecurity and self-doubt that ignited several mental breakdowns leaving the entertainer emotionally drained for life.
The Pat Galo Story reveals the force that hounded him and lurked in the background waiting for any and all opportunities to destroy him. That menacing and sinister shadow turned out to be the very person whom you would least expect to do such a deed. That person was Pat Galo himself.

AUTHOR'S NOTE:I first met Pat Galo circa 1972 in a nightclub while performing with his band but that in itself is another story. Pat had the ability to take an audience and guide them on a journey filled with suave vocal arrangements, masterful impressions, synchronized dance moves, instrumental virtuosity, and impeccable comedic timing. Early on he established himself as the "King of the Lounges" within the Las Vegas and Atlantic City Casinos and the premiere nightclubs of the world! This original musical drama is a testimony to his prowess as a master showman! It may not be a happy story, it may not even be an exact story, but it's a story that needed to be told. Ladies and gentlemen...a true New Jersey Legend...the one and only...Pat Galo!
