Annual Floating Homes Association Membership

You live in a unique and wonderful community. Part of the reason is because there is an organization called the Floating Home Association (FHA). For $20 you can be a member. It is worth every penny and more. Every year, in February, we have a meeting and party at the Bay Model. It is an opportunity to know what is happening, meet the board members, committee members, neighbors and make new friends.
Other benefits include:

- The Floating Times newspaper (4 to 5 times a year) This paper lets you know the recent dock news, including major issues and events. It also has a classified section that will help you find goods and services.

- Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Training for free. (While supplies last) Normally $35.

The FHA has worked to resolve problems with insurance, dock maintenance, berth leases, rent increases, financing and floating home registration. The FHA also sponsored legislation (the "Floating Home Residency Law") that provides owners and residents with legal rights similar to what mobile home residents have.

Be a part of your community. Keep in touch with what's happening on your dock, in your harbor and in the floating homes community. Your membership is essential for the FHA to continue to do its work.
