Colors of the Orchestra: Lowell Philharmonic Orchestra Family Concert
The Lowell Philharmonic Orchestra proudly presents its upcoming Family Concert, "Colors of the Orchestra," featuring an array of vibrant and captivating pieces that will delight audiences of all ages. Join us on a musical journey as we explore the magical world of orchestral music through a colorful lens.
This concert will showcase the winner of the 2023 Jeanne Sealander Concerto Competition, who will perform alongside the orchestra. In addition, we will feature talented local string students in a special string play-in, offering an opportunity for young musicians to showcase their skills.
We invite families to immerse themselves in the full orchestra experience by participating in our interactive activities. Our "Meet the Instruments" stations provide an opportunity to get up close and personal with different instruments and learn about their unique sounds and roles in the orchestra. Strike a pose at our selfie station and take home a memory of this special day, or let your creativity flow at our coloring station.
This Family Concert is a perfect way to spend a fun and educational afternoon with loved ones. With a program that is both entertaining and enriching, it's an event not to be missed. Come discover the "Colors of the Orchestra" with us!
