Gwen Avery Memorial Celebration
The Gwen Avery Memorial Celebration at the Montclair Women's Cultural Arts Club on Saturday. May 3, 2014 from 6 - 9pm will feature music by her friends produced by Barbara Price and Linda Tillery.
Performers will include: Linda Tillery, Mary Watkins, Vicki Randle, Rhiannon, June Millington, Karen Williams, Avotcja, Blackberri, Katharine Cole, Gina Breedlove, Tammi Brown, Shelley Doty, Colleen Stewart, Deszon Claiborne, Virginia Rubino, Anna Flechero and The Blues Sisters Band.
Food will be available from Roderick's BBQ and Soul Food Truck in the Courtyard at 6pm at the beginning of the evening, with music by the OPC Marimba Band, followed by the Memorial Celebration performances.
Doors open at 5:15pm. General Admission Tickets at $15; Reserved Seating Tickets at $25. All ticket proceeds will go to The Gwen Avery Scholarship Fund for Girls at The Oakland Public Conservatory of Music.
