Death Of A Salesman
Arthur Miller's Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning 1949 masterpiece comes to the NoHo Arts District in a theatre so intimate you feel like you're right in the home of the Loman family, deeply repressed pain and all.
This time around Willy is African-American and seeks to amass a fortune in spite of Jim Crow laws. His brother Ben did, right? Still, nothing - not being well-liked, not marrying a white woman, not spending four decades working himself to the point of exhaustion - provides upward mobility to Willy or even to his biracial sons.
Biff seems to have found the solution, though. Not to acquiring wealth, but to acquiring happiness. Or has he? His dad certainly has something to say about that - yet who is Willy to judge?
