Gateway to the Blues
June 10, 2023 (4pm to 8pm) at the Siskiyou Field Institute, 1241 Illinois River Rd., Selma, Oregon 97538
Benefit for Learning Thought Arts, hosted by the Illinois River Valley Arts Council, celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the incorporation of Cave Junction -- Gateway to the Oregon Caves with our first Blues Festival featuring Danielle Kelly Soul Project Trio (4:30pm) and Broadway Phil and The Shouters (6:30pm). We'll unveil 30 gates decorated by local artists representing the valley. Gates will be displayed around the valley all summer and auctioned at our Starry, Starry Night event 9/10/23.
Gateway to the Blues will have Wonderful Silent Auction items, too, including gift certificates to local events and vacation spots!
There will be a food truck for your dining pleasure, and the Arts Council will be selling beverages, including beer and wine, as well as desserts. Water is free!
Please bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets.
Please note, no pets are allowed on site for the protection of wildlife and other guests. Also, as there will be beer and wine for sale, but there will be wrist bands so FAMILY-FRIENDLY!
