Whidbey Childrens Theater Presents David & Lisa
The wonderful Rose Woods returns to direct this poignant psychological drama. This intimate stage version of the 1962 film details the struggles and triumphs of two young adults struggling with psychological issues at the school where they are being treated, and their ability to find some of themselves in each other. Dr Swinford the psychiatrist, her staff, and other students at the school round out an engaging ensemble cast that delves into the heart of who we are, despite whatever difficulties we are facing.
This play will be presented in black-box style theater in our main classroom. Seating is limited due to the small performance space.
