Racham - A True Fairytale, presented by Ballet 5:8 School of the Arts
Each spring, over 125 students from Ballet 5:8 School of the Arts' Pre-Professional Program and the Children's Division come together to present an original full-length ballet. This year's work will be Ballet 5:8 Artistic Director Juliana Slager's newest creation, a fairy tale ballet in the style of the classic ballets of Petipa and Tchaikovsky, but with an original story about a royal family. Racham tells the story of a king and his daughter, of a rebellion, a battle and a costly redemption. With lead roles played by soloists from Ballet 5:8 School of the Arts' Ensemble Companies, brand-new costumes and sets, and a gripping story, Racham is slated to be an epic production that you won't want to miss.
