Behind the Mic: Integrating Sound & Movement for Voiceover
Exceptional voice acting begins with exceptional body awareness. Through a range of integrated vocal exercises, group improv and individual mic time, students will expand their expressive range and create characters through improvisation. Make strong choices and learn how to self-direct. Work with pro voiceover scripts and learn mic techniques to help demystify the niche market of voice acting.
This workshop is recommended for professional actors curious about voiceover, improvisers, movers who speak and voice actors who want to take their performance to the next level. No experience necessary. Class size is limited to 10. Dress to move and bring a water bottle.
Taught by DebÂrah Eliezer, one of the busiest voiceover talents in the Bay Area. Recent VO credits include: Leapfrog toys, "As Seen On TV, "Dora the Explore", "The Godfather", "Sands of Destruction" & The Sims video games. She is a private acting coach, casting director and produces VO demo cds.
