The Washington Wind Symphony presents "Matinee at the Opera"
Join the Washington Wind Symphony as our music conductor, Jacob Scherr, leads the band in an entertaining selection of classic operatic tunes other popular favorites. You'll hear "O Mio Babbino Caro" by Puccini, Bizet's famous "Carmen Fantasy," "Porgy and Bess" by Gershwin, and much more.
Band bio
The Washington Wind Symphony comprises 45-50 dedicated musicians who gather once a week for the pure enjoyment of the preservation of classic wind band literature. Performing a four-concert season at Redmond's intimate Performing Arts Center, the musicians have achieved a following of loyal listeners on the Eastside of Seattle.
