THE TAMING OF THE SHREW
Following last years successful national tour of 'Romeo & Juliet', Folksy Theatre are thrilled to be back this year, performing Shakespeare's wonderful comedy 'The Taming Of The Shrew' as part of Bristol Shakespeare Festival. Baptista has declared that no one may court his youngest daughter Bianca, until first her older sister, the ill-tempered Katherine, is married. Petruchio, a brash young man from Verona, agrees to marry Katherine - but can he tame her? Set in the rockin' 50's, it's The Shrew as you've never seen it before. This production is filled with live music, large characters and guarantees to have audiences of young and old alike, laughing along.
Bring along your picnics, blankets, folding chairs and friends and family to enjoy this wonderful open-air production.
