NY Region Professional Development Workshop
with
Scott Fraser & Frederick Schjang
Sunday March 16th, 2 - 4:30PM.
When teaching ATM, the scan is sometimes treated like the forgotten step-child. In this seminar, Frederick and Scott will model how to more intricately and effectively develop scans that foreshadow the lesson, enhancing the experience of our students and making our lesson's impact more powerful and more deeply integrated.
By connecting the imagery, metaphors and relationships developed during a scan to the language used during the lesson and inter-weaved through the lesson, scans can set the the table of an ATM -- leading to more creative, spontaneous teaching, and transforming each ATM in ways that cultivate the conditions for leaning in each of our students.
