To celebrate Frederick Law Olmsted's 201st birthday, the Lipsey Architecture Center Buffalo is pleased to host an event at The Richardson Hotel. On Wednesday April 26th beginning at 5:00 p.m., Clinton Brown, author of "Olmsted's Elmwood: The Rise, Decline and Renewal of Buffalo's Parkway Neighborhood, A Model for Americas Cities," will give a lively talk and sign copies of this new book.
Following the discussion, Nell Gardner, agronomist and horticulturalist, will host a 20-minute informational tour of the Olmsted South Lawn and the farm that once existed on site.
Free admission. Space is limited. Park in the hotel lots on the North side of the campus (Buffalo State side). Event will take place on the third floor of the Towers Building.
