Insects: Bugs to Butterflies
MondayFriday, July 2024, 9am3pm Instructor: Lisa Ganser Tuition: $350 Max Attendance: 8 Recommended for ages 9-11
Explore the world of insects by making a film about them! Working together, young video-makers will explore the world under our feet with cameras and a tool kit of movie-making techniques. It could be an essay on your favorite Lepidoptera, an original story in honor of a particular creepy-crawly in your life, or a documentary about the slimiest of the wet and wriggly creatures. Freedom will be given to students on choosing between documentary and narrative (story telling) styles of movie making. Students will receive a copy of the final product on dvd and see their films in a theater at the end of the session.
