Rock Around Downtown Fest
RAD Fest is an outdoor and all ages rock festival that will be held at Parc International on Saturday, August 19. There will be 11 bands performing (9 are local bands from Lafayette) and there will be a few food vendors as well. This festival gives local bands a chance to play a show in a festival style environment. It also allows the residents and families of Lafayette no matter what age, to be able to attend so that the kids that are growing up here get to see the rock music that is coming from where they live. This festival is meant to build community not just amongst musicians but everyone who shares a love for rock music as a whole.
