Blinn created Starsky and Hutch and The Interns. He won WGA and Emmy awards for his writing on the groundbreaking miniseries Roots. He wrote for Bonanza, Shane, Here Come the Brides, Gunsmoke The Rookies, Eight is Enough, The New Land, Hunter, Fame and more. He won more WGA and Emmy Award nominations and awards for A Man Called Intrepid, A Question of Love, Brian's Song and The Boys Next Door. In 2009 the WGA awarded him its highest honor for television writing, the Paddy Chayefsky Laurel Award. He has plenty to say and much to teach us.
