SkeptiCal 2014
SkeptiCal is the Northern California conference on science and skepticism, a day-long event with speakers, panels, and discussions on a wide array of subjects. Last year we had speakers covering legends, hoaxes, and frauds of science, the search for extra-terrestrial intelligence, medical ethics, and grassroots skepticism. This year some of our topics will be on Psychological Pseudoscience, Pseudohistory, Boundaries of Science, Internet Scams (Ponzi schemes, weird cults, fortune-telling cons, etc), Teaching Scientific Skepticism to Kid, and skeptical comedy. There many restaurants within a short walking distant to enjoy lunch.
