AIA Orange Countys Healthcare Committee Presents: Cultivating Community and a Continuum of Care on a Behavioral Health Campus
An In Person Event Hosted by P2S Inc
Leading into Mental Health Awareness Month the AIA OC Healthcare committee is hosting a discussion with experts from the design and Behavioral Health Provider space outlining the changing approach to the delivery of behavioral health. We will highlight the need for greater access and how the current environment and funding methods are impacting care integration and improved design.
Attendees will learn from Darci Hernandez (Boulder Associates), Rosalie Zoll (Mind OC), Rhyan Miller (Riverside University Health System) and Lee Watkins (Snyder - Langston) methods for tackling behavioral health within communities, the challenges posed by a fragmented healthcare system, and how projects can bring together multiple levels of care into a comprehensive campus.
Learning Objectives. Attendees will ~
-Discuss the current environment of heightened awareness around Mental and Behavioral Health has influenced funding and appetite for improved care models. -Learn how these industry leaders are bringing together partners to provide a continuum of care. The integrated model supports the consumer in their recovery journey and improves care outcomes by creating the right setting for care delivery. -Learn about the variety of care service lines contained under the Behavioral Health umbrella, and how building a trusted brand and cultivating connectivity with the surrounding community is key to driving a project's success. -Learn how campus design, outdoor space, and amenities are being leveraged to support health and wellness.
