Renaissance City Choir Cabaret: Unexpected Broadway -- A Benefit Concert for the Washington County Gay Straight Alliance
The Washington County Gay Straight Alliance welcomes the Renaissance City Choir of Pittsburgh to Washington County in a reprise of its Cabaret program "Unexpected Broadway," under the direction of Alexandra Vansuch and Jeffry Johnson.
Washington County Gay Straight Alliance, Inc. is dedicated to affirming acceptance between diverse groups of people, raising awareness in our community of the needs of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Transsexual, Questioning, Queer, Asexual, and Allied (LGBTQA) people through support, education, and community outreach on the issues of diversity. WCGSA, Inc. provides a safe, confidential environment for individuals of Washington County and the surrounding areas regardless of sex, race, disability, gender, gender identity, gender expression, or sexual orientation.
The Cabaret program is a fresh look at music from the "Great White Way" - Broadway, including forgotten Broadway treasures, atypical casting of familiar songs, and mash-ups of pieces you would have never imagined. Join us for performances of music from The Sound of Music, Dreamgirls, Kinky Boots, The Boys from Syracuse, Annie Get Your Gun, Cabaret, and more!
