Currently, the director/screenwriter brings his distinguished filmography to leading the screenwriting program in the Dodge College of Film and Media Arts at Chapmen University. He has an M.F.A. in Motion Pictures from U.C.L.A. and studied political science at Pomona College, where he is a member of the board of trustees.
