How to Toon: Art of Cartooning Camp Session A
Session A: For children entering grades 1 - 5 Learn the basics of cartooning in a hands-on course with cartoonist Joe Wos. Develop compelling characters and stories, from the use of simple line to incorporating emotion, costume, props and plot development. Students will learn basic cartooning skills through fun imagination games and drawing exercises. They will explore the concepts behind both illustration and animation. All students will receive their own Zoetrope and a copy of the instructional DVD How To Toon. Joe Wos is the resident cartoonist of the Charles M. Schulz Museum, and Executive Director of the ToonSeum, Pittsburghs Museum of Cartoon Art, located in the Children's Museum. His cartooning workshop is now in its 20th year and has been offered nationwide
