Mexican Fusion cooking class with Dany Lamote

It was at a cooking class in Todos Santos, Mexico that Megan McCollam (Director of Polly's Paladar) met Dany Lamote(Executive Chef at SantoVino). She spent 5 hours peeling tamarinds, searing the freshest fish, and sipping Mexican wines. After that blissful and indulgent class, Dany and Megan were already dear friends. Thus began a Paladar adventure guiding each of them from Todos Santos to Nevada City, back and forth.

Dany sold out two consecutive nights at his Dia De Los Muertos event in Nevada City last November and after Megan's last trip south, they had his next one already on the books!

His La Vie En Rose Paladar set for the 14th & 15th of March is nearly sold out and he had mentioned his love of teaching, so they decided to extend his offering beyond the line in the kitchen to an interactive experience for the good folks of Nevada City.

You may look forward to learning how to make things like an avocado, white chocolate, & tequila shakes, sashimi santovino style, & even Mexican pot de cremes. Take home a few of Dany's signature salts made in his restaurant in Todos Santos & maybe even an irresistible new friendship with a man who is a joy to know.

The costs for this class will cover food for the ten students who enroll as well as a bit for Dany. You will eat a full meal and go home with the confidence of a seasoned chef. Just ask Megan's friends how many spicy creme brûlées they ate after she came back from Mexico!
