Audiences Everywhere Workshop
Friday, March 28, 2014 9:00AM-12:30PM Latino Cultural Center (2600 Live Oak, Dallas)
Description: Get Smarter, Grow Stronger & Gain Audiences. The job of attracting and satisfying audiences isn't just about marketing. The imperatives of RELEVANCE and SUSTAINABILITY demand a whole-organization commitment to engaging audiences.
For organizations large and small and in every arts & cultural genre this workshop is an opportunity to engage your organization's leadership (staff and/or volunteers) in an unforgettable audience-building dialogue that replaces obsolete, noise-producing paradigms with fresh strategies that resonate with your audience AND your mission. You and your team will learn:
* How to connect with audiences beyond the "low hanging fruit," * How to engage audiences with strategies that "pull" participation rather than "push" noisy messages, * How to construct & use audience personas, * How to use social media to connect audiences to your organization's mission, * How to grow audiences WHILE saving time, money & effort.
A recent workshop attendee writes: "Mind-opening, rut-clearing, possibility renewing."
This workshop is made possible, in part, thanks to the sponsorship of Patron Technology.
Who should attend: Executive Directors, Artistic Directors, Curators, Development Executives, Marketing Professionals and Board Members.
