Winners Wear Crowns
A darkly comic monologue written and directed by Tightlaced Theatre's Artistic Director Jen McGregor, performed Debbie Cannon.
Patricia Harris Williams just wants her baby girl's dreams to come true. Isn't that what every parent wants? To be beautiful and admired and adored? As mother and daughter get caught up in Tennessee's child beauty pageant scene, Patricia slips unwittingly into a spiralling obsession with victory, failure and rhinestone appliqués. But who is the human being seeking refuge in the clichés? Tightlaced Theatre invites you to find out...
