This multi-media, multi-generational dance concert explores the harried complexities in the life of a 21st-century woman involved in the delicate balance of multi-tasking as she endeavors to "have it all." This cultural ideal haunts us and we are often shadowed by guilt if we cannot achieve this impossible task. Yet what happens if we are given no choice but to take a step back and do less, to let the dust settle? Film, dance and your great grandmother's best china collide in Settle, an evening-length dance work in which independent dance artist Rachel Oliver attempts to understand and unwind these expectations.
