En la Habana: Felix Samuel Septet
A Cuban-born vocalist and natural performer from birth, Felix Samuel has a superbly potent voice and a distinct sound, creating contemporary Cuban music by fusing jazz, R&B, soul, and global influences from Mozambique, Europe, and Macedonia. Felix shines as an artist, bringing contagious energy to the stage and the dance floor. The Septet, featuring Piano, Bass, Congas, Timbales, Trumpet, Sax and Vocals will perform a variety of Cuban styles including bolero, rumba, chacha, and timba. As they do in Cuba, where there is music there is dancing, and the dance floor will be open.
To kick off the evening, a 30 minute dance lesson will be offered by Salsa With Rebecca at 7:30pm.
