The Okee Dokee Brothers - Through the Woods Movie Premiere
PLEASE NOTE: ADVANCE TICKET SALES HAVE ENDED. If you planning to attend the OKEE DOKEE BROTHERS event on Sunday, April 6th, we will have only a few tickets available at the door. They will likely be for single seats only and will go on sale about 10 minutes prior to the start of the show.
In May of 2013, The Okee Dokee Brothers embarked on their second adventure, a month-long trek on the Appalachian Trail. They camped, hiked, met mountain musicians, and wrote the songs that make up their next CD/DVD for kids and families titled, Through the Woods. As a follow-up to their Grammy Award winning album and video, Can You Canoe?, this film invites listeners along for a journey full of camping, old-time mountain music, and many miles of hiking!
This event is the world-premiere of The Okee Dokee Brothers' new video. The documentary film tells the story of The Okee Dokee Brothers' travels while including educational segments, camping shenanigans, music videos, interviews with local mountain musicians, pristine nature scenes, and comprehensive tomfoolery. All the hiking, camping, and songwriting footage was filmed on location in the Appalachian Mountains.
