Rupert Boyd's debut solo recording "Valses Poéticos" was released in June 2008. A review in the UK based magazine Classical Guitar, described the CD as follows: "The performances that Boyd gives here are first-rate . . . Altogether this is a fine CD from a player who deserves to be heard." The CD has been frequently broadcast on Australia's most regarded classical music station ABC Classic FM, as well radio stations throughout the USA.
Rupert Boyd currently resides in New York City. He is on faculty at the 92nd Street Y School of Music, The Greenwich House School of Music, The New York City Guitar School and Larchmont Music Academy.
