A Look Inside North Korea's People, Culture & Life -- Geo Pecci
In 2009 fewer than two hundred Americans legally visited North Korea, the most secretive and reclusive nation on the planet. That year Geo Pecci joined twelve other Americans on an unsanctioned tour under the watchful eyes of one British and five North Korean escorts. In September 2012, Mr. Pecci returned to North Korea on a 10-day trip.
You will want to hear his stories, hear an insider's view of North Korea and see some exclusive North Korean photos, videos, and travel memorabilia, all presented in the broader context of the history and culture of a nation we all know far too little about.
Geo Pecci, M.S.E. is a retired special education educator who has taught at various levels of state and public education for over 30 years. He has taught health sciences classes part-time at community college for 15 years. He has served twice on the SLO Grand Jury, and his humanitarian efforts extend to the American Red Cross.
This course has two class sessions: Wednesdays, April 2 & 9 from 1pm - 3pm.
Purchase of a ticket for this course entitles you to attend all two class sessions.
